Luxury Bed And Breakfast in the Brecon Beacons

The Draen (Welsh for Thorn) is a wonderful old Welsh farm house that, in parts, dates back some 400 years.

Situated down the end of a quiet lane, The Draen offers peace and tranquility while being only a 10 minute drive to the historic town of Brecon and fifteen minutes to the Brecon Beacons visitors centre.

Llangorse lake is also only a 10 minute drive away, for those that like water-sports or a leisurely stroll.
Originally built as a farm, The Draen is set in it's own picturesque grounds with convenient & secure parking.

It has a delightful en-suite to ease those tired legs after a day out.

Walking and cycling right from the door

A stay at The Draen can be idyllic for walkers, cyclists and those that just want to get away for a few days. There are walks and cycling trails right from the door. Pen Y Fan is within easy reach by car or cycle, for those that are looking to bag the Breacon Beacons highest mountain. There are plenty of other low level walks though, from sleepy canals to forests and lakes, suitable from tiny tots to the less able. Restaurants, bistro's and pubs are plentiful in the town of Brecon so you have lots of choice when choosing lunch or an evening meal.
